Why KodiakCare
I have had dogs my entire life, and can’t imagine my favorite moments without them. Like Kodiak himself, a dog has always been at the center of our family, and has been an integral part of so many memories. I would love to help extend these memories for all dogs and their humans for as many years as possible.
A favorite personal dog story
My dog, a sweet, lovable 10-year-old black lab named Coco, is very special to me. She came into my life three months before my first daughter was born. A puppy herself, Coco was my training wheels for parenthood. Sleepless nights, a lot of cleanup and I loved every minute of it. She has been there from the start, and through so many core memories. She’ll always have a special place in my heart and in my family.
A favorite dog, other than your own
I’ve never known a more impressive dog than Kodiak. His entire life he was the world’s happiest, most loyal dog in the face of countless medical hurdles. The surgeries, IV treatments, and rounds of chemotherapy never stopped him wagging. I think we could all learn from Kodiak to always look on the bright side of life and enjoy what you have.
